Everything and everyone has an origin- a Source. We believe the stories of where things come from matter. We believe that the stories of where people come from matter. We’re consumed by the story of beginnings because where we come from sets the stage for who we’re becoming and where we’re going. At Source, we invite you to connect to a bigger story- one that we’re all a part of, together. Each cup of coffee we serve is a message of love- the final product of an immense amount of work and care, connecting you to a coffee farmer all the way across the globe, a roaster 221 miles across the country, and a barista just across the counter.
We are driven by our love of coffee, but even more by our love of people. Sharing coffee is how we love our neighbors. We live for that small sigh of satisfaction you let out after that first sip of your latte following a stressful morning at work. For your excitement when you taste a new pourover and your mind is blown by the floral aromatics and candied lemon acidity. We love getting to know you- learning your story and what makes you tick. Come in and say hello!
Cultural geographers, anthropologists, sociologists and urban planners study why certain places hold special meaning to particular people or animals. Places said to have a strong “sense of place” have a strong identity and character that is deeply felt by local inhabitants and by many visitors. At Source we are constantly working to create a sense of place- a comfortable environment where customers can come to feel known and cared for. Our passion for place also drives our product sourcing- tracing coffees back to the farm, shopping for breakfast ingredients at the local farmers market, and partnering with local bakers, apiarists, printmakers, artists and more.
We will never compromise on the quality of our product. We’re completely committed to excellence in the art of coffee, tea, and food. We source high quality ingredients, locally whenever possible. We treat coffee as a science and an art- regularly making trips to visit our roaster, Passenger Coffee Roasters, in Lancaster, PA and attending trade shows and workshops to further hone our skills. We believe in doing fewer things better- so you won’t find a huge menu with more choices than you know what to do with. You’ll find a carefully curated selection of food and beverage that we can feel proud to share with you. Simple, wholesome, and executed with care and precision.
